Boogie Blog Day 1

I can't help myself. Whenever anything out of the ordinary happens in my life, I am compelled to share it with family and close friends.  And so... I invite you to share this adventure of our first weekend with Stella - sans her parents.

I thought - for five seconds -  about what I should name this blog.  Since Stella was deposited at our door this morning with a nose full of boogers, Julie's nickname for her (Boogie) became even more meaningful.  Hence, the Boogie Blog.

Not at all worried about catching her cold because I still have the cold she gave me last weekend and I have every intention of giving it right back to her.  It's a Boogie Fest.

So as you can see by the photo, she came right into our apartment and stood right up!  Imagine, I didn't know she could walk!  Actually, she doesn't walk yet and if she does walk this weekend, I have promised Julie I will not tell her because I would not want her parents to miss her first walking adventure.  But she sure is doing a lot of standing.
